As I've posted elsewhere, so far this birthday has been a Poseidon Adventure disaster movie. There are heavy rains here, and instead of pinging with birthday texts, my phone is SCREAMING with emergency weather alerts which sound like NUCLEAR ATTACK COMING until you actually read the alert and it's like "don't go outside unless you have to until 4PM" JESUS YOU BITCH WHY ARE YOU GIVING ME HEART ATTACKS OVER THE BLOODY OBVIOUS THAT I CAN SEE OUT MY WINDOW???"
Speaking of floods, thanks to the rain there's one in my building at the moment, and it's manifesting in my washer/dryer closet. The super has looked at it and there's not much to be done until they locate the source of the water runoff in the building. It has subsided for now, maybe the worst is over but EWWW THE MESS.
I did get delivered an edible arrangement from my sister tho, so I'm getting a sugar high while working this evening WHEEEEEEEE.
