Wait they'e literally doing a Godzilla tv show with movie level CGI?



I mean I'm sure Big G (as he likes to be called) won't be in it every week but this looks good.
 
I enjoy the first episode well enough, but obviously all the stuff about monsters is more interesting than the FAMILY INTRIGUE stuff. Also I'm pretty sure people didn't say things like "time for some science shit!" in 1959. They didn't make much effort at period authentic dialogue there at all.

Good they got John Goodman but I'm guessing thats all he's in it.

I didn't realise the second episode was up as well, will watch it SOME OTHER TIME.
 
I thought it was pretty good! I was expecting it to be shit, lol.

Second episode: pretty good but a lot or running around. Kurt Russell does not look old enough to be playing someone who would be like 90 by this point? But it's neat they have his son playing the younger version.
 
How did the Monarch people track them down so easily? Tokyo is huge! How would they know about Cate?

ANYWAY, I like it.
 
Maybe they track every American in Japan because Americans are SUSPICIOUS.

No monsters this week, but we got Cate confirmed gay so that's something I guess.
 
That means Cate and May really could happen, also the one Monarch agent, she's definitely a lesbian. lol

Cate and May will definitely get together after Cate is finished being mad at her. THAT IS THE WAY.
