John Wick movies

I still kind of feel like the first one was the best because he had an understadable human reason for killing all these people (his dog!), whereas in the sequels it's all about the LORE and crazy rules of assassin world (even if the action is a lot more spectacular and great.)

I started watching the first episode of The Continental. Then realised it was 90 minutes long. Which is too long for a tv show, really! I watched about half of it. Mel Gibson really isn't worth the possible bad press, there was nothing all the great about his performance. The lead guy was okay and there was some shooting. But I have so many other things to watch that I don't see me giving it much attention. Still, it's on my "continue watching" now so I'll probably watch more in eight months or so.

My friend and I just started watching these. He's seen them, but this is my first time watching them.

Holy shit, don't mess with a man's car or his dog.

Did anyone ever make a Matrix comparison back in the day? I mean, watching Wick 3 last night, there were so many references. From the green lights to the "Guns, lots of guns" line... are we sure Neo didn't get bored and decided to become John Wick in The Matrix?

Iirc the director is one of the fight coordinators from The Matrix, and John Wick 3 features the key holder guy. They tend to avoid obvious Easter eggs but there are a lot of real life connections

Oh yeah I looked at Amazon and Part 4 isn't available for free on Prime anymore (I was sure it was?) so I'll probably never watch it and never find out that his dog comes back to life at the end.

He shoots a real lot of people then he gets shot himself, and dies, there is a chance he is faking his death.

Just ordered 1-4 on Blu-Ray, so I can watch 4. Love all the Gun-Fu in the first three. Can't wait for Donnie Fucking Yen in 4.

Okay, watched the fourth movie last night. What a ride. 169 minutes though? At the pace they're going, if there ever is a fifth movie it'll be over three fucking hours. I'll need a bucket of popcorn AND an I.V.

Pfft 3 hours....that's nothing. The Godfather movies are 3 plus hours. Cinematic masterpieces. Hell I just watched a three hour sports entertainment soap opera tonight(WWE Smackdown).
