I still kind of feel like the first one was the best because he had an understadable human reason for killing all these people (his dog!), whereas in the sequels it's all about the LORE and crazy rules of assassin world (even if the action is a lot more spectacular and great.)
I started watching the first episode of The Continental. Then realised it was 90 minutes long. Which is too long for a tv show, really! I watched about half of it. Mel Gibson really isn't worth the possible bad press, there was nothing all the great about his performance. The lead guy was okay and there was some shooting. But I have so many other things to watch that I don't see me giving it much attention. Still, it's on my "continue watching" now so I'll probably watch more in eight months or so.
Did anyone ever make a Matrix comparison back in the day? I mean, watching Wick 3 last night, there were so many references. From the green lights to the "Guns, lots of guns" line... are we sure Neo didn't get bored and decided to become John Wick in The Matrix?
