The fact that I'm not a dual?

Look, Jack. I was a member here some time back, but I re-registered and don't use that old account anymore because I figured by now that it was inactive (which I found out it's not, but I'll just stick with this account instead of that one). I just want the whole dual thing to be dropped because I'm not. I get told by other boards that TK sucks. Personally, I like the board. But it doesn't help when the Administration thinks I'm some kind of dual who just came to make you all look like idiots. I didn't. I have no problem defending myself, but damn, I'd at least like to start off in a good direction.

The whole point of this thread was nothing more than to reintroduce myself, it was not directed at TKers at all, hence the whole nachos and football reference (The Simpsons), to make sure that it was obvious I wasn't making fun of anyone here.

I just noticed I've spent more posts on explaining how I'm not a dual, than on anything else.
 
Being hassled for dualhood is a time honored turdition around these parts.

I will give you +Karma. This place could use some fresh blood, even if it's old fresh blood.

J. Allen, which I had previously changed the name from Event Horizon (I get fickle with names sometimes). I didn't stick around long, but then at the time I was so busy in RL that I had to cut back everywhere. Then I heard TK had been shut down, so I forgot about it until I heard the other day that the board in fact did exist. So I decided to join back up.

The dual thing got me because I wasn't used to it, but if it's a time honored tradition, well, who am I to stand in the way of tradition. ;)

As for my opening post, I just wanted to do something different than "Hello. Howareyoumy name is J. I am teh new guy here. do you like babelon 5?" (And yes, I purposefully misspelled that).
 
I tried to be mean, and as you can see, I'm not very good at it. I think I used about a 10 year's supply of meanness. I'll just go back to being nice but straightforward. The initial "welcome" did catch me off guard. It was like:

Me: "Hello!"
TK: "Fuck you."
TK: "Fuck You."
TK: "Fuck You."
Me: "Uh...what?"
TK: "Fuck You."
Me: "Well, fuck you!"

Of course now that I'm over that, it would take a lot to get me back there again. I hope that doesn't crimp TK's style. ;)
