And it makes me wonder how the art department reacted to what must've seemed some very odd and specific requests for things that they knew would barely be seen. I wonder if any of them were in on the jokes (thinking of the foreshadowing mostly) or just got sent odd notes from the writers, shrugged and did what they were told.

It is funny how an american show that was cancelled well before its time has 53 episodes but legendary British shows sometimes only have 12 episodes in total. Or a really obvious observation.
