He is intelligent, and interesting. I agree. And he is a good person in RL, and even online. But lately (a long time, actually, at this point), he's been showing is dark side a lot. He's allowed himself to get into a rut about all of his worries of the "next attack", that its eating him up. I've PM'ed him many times about that, and he basically ran through all of it with a bulldozer. Three things will happen down the roat that I can think of. Either he cracks, gets permabanned from EI, or he'll see the error of his ways.

I agree with you on this, he's intelligent and it boggles the mind how an intelligent person can't see the forest for the trees.

He was so in favor of the permabans because he wants to see the 'trolls' gone that he can't see the same thing happening to him if he doesn't chill out. The rules apply equally to all posters and he doesn't seem to see that.

IMO he's been given more than enough chances to chill.

He's so convinced he's right that he can't see he's going about things the wrong way.

I still like him but lately I really try to avoid him and his venom.

I guarantee that G will not face a permaban as soon as he reaches the minimum required number for one. The guideline for that was specifically written so the staff can pick and choose what troublemakers they keep and which ones they boot.

This all probably has something to do with an series of incidents stemming back to a year ago...actually a year and a half. Under two of my duals, I fed G a lot of bullshit about plots over here. I provided fake PMs, fake chatlogs, and whatnot...he was extremely skeptical at first, but when I started vaguely predicting coming events and they came to pass, I think he started taking me more seriously.

Well, the best way to stop a runaway train is to speed it up and derail it...likewise, the best way to handle an asshole like G is to feed the coal to him.
