No, didn't like any of the adaptations.. loved all 6 of the books. Heretics and Chapterhouse weren't as good as the first 4, but if you didn't read them then you didn't get to read about Teg.
Hmmm.. Leto's sacrifice is hard to comprehend, but if I lived his life, or one similar I probably would have done what was necessary. He completely understood his terrible purpose, where Paul could only guess at his. He was better prepared to face it, because he had Paul's memories to help him. I think Leto was driven to do what had to be done.

and man, becoming a worm, thats just messed up
i could never really identify with Leto 2 after that
where as Paul, i really got, guess thats why i never finished the books...

obviously it skipped a lot
but i would have loved for David Lynch make sequels to it
especially with Kyle as a blind Paul
