Completely different things. Macedonia is a modern country that lifted its name from the ancient Makedonia, which is of course modern day Greece.

When the name change to Macedonia was mooted in the 1990's, Greeks were up in arms, because that name is pretty sacred to them. If you wanted it in Turkish, which is where the pictured was taken, it would be Makedonya.

I didn't need Wiki to tell me that, because I studied the Classics at college, but here, knock yourself out. Learn something.
