No. 1 recruit James Wiseman joining coach Penny Hardaway at Memphis

Wiseman, a 7-footer from East High School (Tennessee), is the first No. 1 prospect to commit to Memphis since ESPN's recruiting database began in 2007. He is also the first top-10 prospect to pick the Tigers since Adonis Thomas committed in 2011.
 
Which pitchers should make the USA Softball roster for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics?

Counting Cat Osterman, who announced her comeback last week, 10 pitchers have accepted invitations to try out for the U.S. national team that will compete in the 2019 Pan-Am Games and likely will form the foundation of the Olympic roster in 2020. Here's the problem: There's room for three pitchers, maybe four, on the final roster of 15. Some agonizing decisions loom. If the Olympics started tomorrow, whom would you take to Tokyo?

Florida ends 5-game skid vs. FSU, which won't appear in a bowl for the 1st time since 1982

Feleipe Franks had three touchdown passes and No. 13 Florida used a punishing ground attack to end a five-game losing streak to Florida State, defeating the Seminoles 41-14 on Saturday. Lamical Perine had a 74-yard touchdown run as Florida ran for 278 yards, averaging 5.3 yards per carry. Perine ran for 129 yards, averaging 9.9 yards per carry.
 
Daniele Bracciali, Potito Starace banned for match-fixing in 2011

Two Italian tennis players who previously were ranked in the top 50 have been banned for match-fixing at an ATP event in Barcelona in 2011. Daniele Bracciali, who is still an active player, was banned for life and fined $250,000. Potito Starace, who has retired, was banned from any future involvement in the sport for 10 years and fined $100,000.
 
Buckeye blitz: No. 10 Ohio State blows out No. 4 Michigan

The Wolverines were two victories away from their first conference championship since 2004 and a trip to the College Football Playoff, facing an Ohio State team that has looked discombobulated on defense and one-dimensional on offense much of the season. Looking to snap a six-game losing streak against the Buckeyes (11-1, 8-1, No. 10 CFP) and get coach Jim Harbaugh his first victory in four tries in the rivalry known simply as The Game, the Wolverines (10-2, 8-1, No. 4 CFP) wilted.

Larry Fedora fired by North Carolina after 7 seasons

North Carolina fired coach Larry Fedora on Sunday following a second straight nine-loss season. Fedora went 45-43 in his seven years. Fedora's current contract was set to run through 2022, and he has a buyout of just over $12 million (which is subject to mitigation should he find another coaching job).
 
Dmitry Bivol rolls past Jean Pascal to defend light heavyweight title

Bivol (15-0, 11 KOs), 27, of Russia, got off to a fast start when late in the first round he blasted Pascal (33-6-1, 20 KOs), 36 , who is from the Montreal suburb of Laval, with a right hand that sent him into the ropes and looking to cover up. According to CompuBox punch statistics, Bivol outlanded Pascal 17-1 in the first round.
