For example, believers might kill in the name of their "god" but what do the teachings of the religions promote?

Take for example, christianity, since we're all familiar with it. Peace, turn the other cheek, love your neighbor. Never kill him. In Islam, "kill all the infidels where you find them."

That's a striking and telling difference that excuses cannot hide.

To be pc, and cool like John Kerry, we should all just submit to the muslims, pay their jizyah tax, and dress up in their silly little outfits.

Then, 6 times a day, we drop whatever we were doing, including posting here, whip out our little pretty prayer rugs, the proceed to pray to some dude named Allah.

Then, we can all walk around and act like we are cool like Farrakhan.

Christian doctrines preach that we should put to death all homosexuals, yet we do not. Secular Muslim nations, like Saddam Hussein's Iraq, were not as Jihadist and die-hard as you might believe. Turkey does not preach violence and murder towards non-Muslims. This point is proven by reality to be bullshit.

Utter bullshit. Christianity, the scourge of the European peoples, has always promoted the slaughter of infidels, especially those of whites (read Slavic history) who would not conform to it.

The Bible still has murderous passages in it which prohibit, under the penalty of death, for one man to sleep with another. Since you are so hung up upon doctrine, tell me: is it dogma, or cultural practice which might keep certain practices alive?

Islam is the religious casus belli that the Arabs and Mongols have taken advantage of since before the fall of Constantinople. Either way, don't BS people when you try to say that all Muslims are evil when they clearly are not.

They absolutely do NOT. Jesus preached fulfillment of the old testament law that demanded their death. NOWHERE in the new testament is any death called for in any fashion. You are talking about judaism, not christianity.
