American Gods

I kind of figured mad Sweeny was going to die soon as soon as they announced the actor was going to be in a different show.

Could Laura's voodoo potion bring a God back to life though?

I think he died of a drug overdose in the book so that was a pretty big change. I hope he's still in the show somehow as he was a good character and damn good actor.

I didn't remember about Sweeney dying in the book. I figured he'd be there till the end :rwmad:

Maybe Laura can bring him back. HE'S HOT.

It's been a long time since I read the book. They've already changed a lot so it's definitely possible he'll be back (unless he's too busy and they can't get him.)

So that was the finale already. It didn't feel like a complete season. Some of the early episodes felt pretty poor compared to season one, and while it did get better in the second half of the season it could have used at least another two episodes to build to a proper finale.

Did they establish that Shadow is Wednesday's son in the book? I can't remember ANYTHING.

This did feel like half a season, I guess since there were only 8 episodes that kind of makes sense. They're building up to the big battle.

They've also gotten rid of Crispin Glover.

I guess they signed Ian McShane to an airtight contract but don't care about anyone else.
