It doesn't bother me who he is. I shall reserve judgement until I see him for a few episodes.
 
Yeah, I didn't like Tennant when he was first announced, but he grew on me a lot once I actually saw him in a few episodes.

This guy looks a bit peculiar, but he seems like a good actor.
 
Well two things mean I will keep an open mind.

1, its Moffit, he knows what he is doing

2 Noone though Daniel Craig was right for Bond, and that turned out ok.
 
I bet they would've made that video whoever it was. :)

I'm just glad it's not thingamy Tovey or James Nesbitt.
 
Well the "What has he done to his head??!!" remark fits perfectly, though.
 
I used to know a guy who looks just like Matt Smith, only he was a gay emo designer who told tall tales to anyone who would listen. I'm sure we'll get over his funny head in time and concentrate on Moffat's amazing gay-reference-free stories.
 
It should have been Nicholas Witchell.

Actually. "chrissake" is common shorthand slang for "for Christ's sake"

But yes, he's a tool.
 
Is it just me or does he sort of look like Stephen Merchant from Extras?
 
Hes just got one of the best jobs on tv, a smile wouldn't kill him
