I just picked up Vol. 2 of My-HiME, but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I loved the first volume, and it's got a great mix of comedy, action, and drama.Yuri said:Yay anime! And manga, can't forget manga!
Anywho, the latest anime I've seen is My-Hime, which I high recomend. It starts out as a simple school comedy, but starts to deepen...ooooh, suspence!
And on the manga front, I've gotten pretty far in Fushigi Yugi, which I didn't think I would like like.
If you like Azumanga Daioh, then you should enjoy this one. This has the romantic element that was missing from that series.Yuri said:School Rumble, eh? What's it about, I'm a sucker for a good comedy like FLCL, Excel Saga, Azumanga Diaoh, Those Who Hunt Eleves...the list goes on.
Absolutely hilarious.Tsukamoto Tenma is an ordinary 2nd year high school student who has fallen in love with one of her classmates, Karasuma Ooji. However, currently she is unable to confess her feelings to him. To make things worse, she found out that Karasuma is transferring to another school in a year. On the other hand, Tenma's other classmate, Harima Kenji (who is a delinquent) is also in love with Tenma. Not being able to confess his feelings, Harima gets depressed day by day.
You say that as if I don't know what 'Yuri' means.Oh, and I also enjoy a good shoujo-ai story, in case you havn't figured it out yet,
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=5835Hazumu confessed his love to Yasuna, but she turned down him. To ease his heartbreak, he went to Mt. Kashimayama where he had met her first. He lost his way in the mountain, and it was night time. He saw a big shooting star, and when he began to wish, he found something was wrong. It was not a shooting star, but it was a falling space ship. He was involved in the crash. He managed to survive by the help of the alien. However, he became a girl due to the accident during the reconstruction of his body.
I've got that one too.Yuri said:...hmmmm, that sounds oddly familar, I think I may have heard of it somewhere along the line...oh well, still sounds pretty good. I'm a pretty big sucker for series about case of mistaken gender idenity, like I! My! Me! Strawberry Eggs!
