Anyone else watching the Arsenal/Chelsea game?

Conchaga

Let's fuck some shit up
It's not looking good for Arsenal.

You mean the match they played on 7th Feb?

I watch all Arsenal matches and yes I saw this shambles as well. I have no desire to watch it again though. :(

Well, it's just playing here on Comcast. :P

It takes the US companies a little while to translate the commentators.

Gagh you should listen to the Arsenal podcast by Alan Davies. You don't have to be an Arsenal fan to enjoy it either. Not at all. It's a complete laugh riot.

This is the latest with thoughts about the Chelsea game:

Whenever we lose they go on Mugabi Media Lockdown :D

If you don't already, I also suggest getting Danny Baker's Podcast from BBC. It's unlike any other footy podcast out there. Alan Davies has been on his show twice lately. I've been listening for 4 years, whatever show they put Danny on, he's hilarious.

I've seen it listed on iTunes loads of times but never checked it out. I will subscribe now you've given it the seal of approval.

It depends how you feel on Danny Baker. It's basically just silly fun, he loves anecdotes, so there are new topics & themes for callers each week, as well as going back to the old ones. He spends practically no time obsessing about results or current football.

The Alan Davies podcast is mainly just silly fun and anecdotes as well. It's not a serious football chat though it's obvious that Alan and the rest of the guys on the Podcast know their shit. They spend more time trying to fit Alexander Demetri Song Bilong's name in to football songs and talking about Tinkerbell's (Eboue's) exploits. It really is a lot of fun and definitley worth listening to.

Here's one that ran and ran last year. Danny asked listeners if they've ever found themselves alone in a ground at any point.

A caller said was on a tour round Swindon's ground back in the day when Fraser Digby was the goalkeeper at the club. He found himself alone in the home dressing room, and pilfered a tortoiseshell comb out of his washbag.

Danny suggested there was music to be had in the term "Fraser Digby's Washbag" the next few months involved listeners providing entire songs based round this. The Christmas 2008 show saw Fraser Digby pop in and surprise Danny.

Slightly edging that out - Teletext Alex's two songs replacing every syllable with a football player's name!

What's the podcast link?

While we're on Podcasts, Menty, I'd also suggest Richard Herring's "As It Occurs to Me", all 10 episodes can be downloaded for free from iTunes. Herring doesn't get as much work as Stewart Lee, but God knows why. I nearly die laughing at some of his stuff. Fist of Fun rocked back in the day.

Meanwhile, let's see him destroy a heckler
