Anyone watching Reaper?

I want to, solely because Kevin Smith directed the pilot episode, and acts as a producer on the first half of the series.

I'll watch it if it's ever on tv or download if Marina Sirtis guest stars.

Smith's directing a BSG next season too.
 
I saw about 10 minutes of the premiere, it looks good.

I find I'm not clamoring to watch/record new shows as much as I used to, but I'll get there.
 
not yet. am enjoying Pushing Daisies tho, which is QUIRKY. I hope to catch Reaper next time it's on cos it looks like a hoot. In a dark way, hopefully.
But then do I really want to like it? That's the kiss of death.(pardon the pun) Dead Like Me got cancelled as soon as I got into it.
Fuck TV and yer mediocrity and yer cancelling all the shows I ever like!
 
Nothing I watched from last "season" got cancelled, SO I MUST HAVE PICKED WELL.
 
I keep forgetting to watch it.. I think it's on the CW or something and I never bother to check what's on.

That gig is off. He is writing and directing one of a new 'Heroes Origins' series though.
 
I want to check out Dexter - it sounds excellent.
 
I keep meaning to watch Dexter but every time I flip to it, I flip away after a minute or two.

I'm thinking of switching Showtime for some other service at this point. Queer as Folk is done, Weeds is OK but not the orgasmic slice of brilliance we're being told it is. And none of the other shows really appeal to me, and their selection of movies has gotten really thin over the years.

I'll keep the HBOs, and then maybe try someone else, or maybe just pocket the difference.

Much as I hate to converse with you I just wanted to let you know Dexter is excellent. I've just finished four eps of the first season. I can't wait to finish up season one and get to the second season.

BDM's watching Reaper, he likes it a lot. He's also into the new Bionic Woman.

Dexter is great yeah. There's only ten (or twelve? I don't remember) episodes in the first season and there's a story arc going through them all and it just gets better and better as it goes on. Michale C Hall is fantastic as Dexter and Julie Benz (Darla) is a regular and still hot.
 
I liked the pilot of Reaper a lot, I saw the third episode the other night and I think it's already going downhill.

Trying to catch a bunch of bees in a toaster in a complete Ghostbusters rip-off isn't exactly climactic to me.

Life on Mars is awesome. Funnily enough a friend of mine from New York is the one that put me on to it. I'd heard good things but never got round to watching it before. I'm only about 5 episodes in but it's definitley a great show.
 
Dexter is available up here only on DVD so far, and my po-dunk video store doesnt have the first season in stock yet. bah!
 
I have yet to check out Life on Mars. I will make a note.
 
If only there were some way to download tv shows over the internet!
