Do we really need another Black Canary? Is this the fifth one?

I like how Curtis has figured out how pointless he is.

Why did people keep standing in front of Evil Laurel talking at her when she could obviously just shoot them with her scream.
 
The after school gun control special was pretty terrible. Oliver comes up with some magic solution that pleases everyone, somehow. What was it, exactly?

Wild Dog claims his wife would still be alive if he'd had his gun. But the flashback shows he did have his gun! She died becasue he shot the thug and his gun went off and shot the wife. So was he supposed to be lying or was it just really bad writing? Is his memory rotted by saying "hoss" so many times?

Felicity doesn't mention that fact that she was once shot in the spine and paralysed.
 
Well, Mr. Terrific didn't invent the rifle cock but they finally introduced his science balls from the comics. And..... Prometheus, talk about a switcheroo.
 
Anyone think mr Terriffic and mad dog will eventually end up together.

I know mad dog isnt gay, yet.

I like a show that takes risks, but think they might have gone a bit far with Oliver skinning a guy alive, not for information, but for practice, then finally admitting that he enjoys murdering people.

Also that girl has been out of the story for so long, when she was put in his cell I had no idea who she was.
 
It's good that cute Thea is back.

Didn't Oliver remember that his dad killed a guy right in front of him in the first episode.
 
It'll be interesting to see how the crew survived the explosion. So does that last flashback looping back to the first episode mean no more annoying flashbacks? Or are the flashbacks just gonna be clips from earlier seasons from now on?
 
All the flashbacks will be family guy style comic asides from now on.

I reckon they all went down into the prison, it was in a bunker that was manned, so they would have noticed people planting bombs.

Either that or next season will start with no explanation, just everyone back, and the flashbacks will be how they all escaped.
 
Yeah how did Chase manage to plant so many (hundreds!) of bombs without ARGUS noticing? Are ARGUS just really really shit?

Maybe Oliver will get Barry (after he's freed from prison by Cisco killing children) to travel back in time and whisk everyone off the island.
 
The other thing I noticed while watching the episode a second time, was Felicity says "we dont have time to defuse all the bombs"

Which to me suggests they might have time to disable the one thats closest to them.

The trees would absorb the blast from the rest of the explosives.

I remember years ago reading in a book about vietnam how the americans sent a fleet of B52s out to bomb the jungle where the vc was at the time, they dropped 10,000,000 dollars worth of bombs, and when they sent the ground troops in to count the bodies, they only found one.
