So I've been following along here and it seems to me Ange is just a garden variety troll. Uncomplex and basic. Rudimentary at best.

Half a cup of IKYABWAI.

Seems pretty damn obvious. Am I missing something here?
 
Check the links. His need is to be paid attention to. You'll see him peel like an onion if he's ignored. Just scanning the stern threads is teaching me this very clearly.

IKYABWAI will just feed it. Everything is gasoline on that spark. His latest callout thread is typical of the desperation he'll sink to for attention.

My feeling is, if no one responds, he'll just go away.

Otherwise, he'll just post to himself. I mean really, who wants to interact with that bullshit for more than a day or two? Fun at first, then as it just drones on, you become tired of it.

What I'm saying is I don't understand why everyone is putting so much effort into this shitty second rate troll.

What I meant was - Its efforts amount to not much more then a half cup of IKYABWAI. I wasn't suggesting that as a tactic.

At least Charlie implied I was gay. You can't just get that anywhere you know..
The best Ange could offer me was a warning not to PM her/him/whatever.

Come on TK, you guys are better then this. Aren't you? Aren't we?
 
Do not try to make sense of it. There are several posters here that are not worthy to respond to yet they have some of the biggest threads in this place.
 
Never underestimate the power of a good whipping post. Posters like that one are cannon fodder for slow moments when you feel like tearing somebody a newe one but can't be bothered to take the time to home in on a new board, register, find your voice etc. You know, the concentrated invasive effort it takes to venture into new territory. Some times you just feel like announcing " I wish to verbally kick someone in the nertz. Please arrange yourself directly in front of my jackboot so I may do so with minimal effort."

Up til now, that's what Charles was for. Ange is just the new chewtoy, that's all, and once people have chewed the squeaker out of her she'll be forgotten in the corner like the rest...

You talk about not want to go through the trouble of venturing outside the walls. Does that happen?

I would never underestimate the necessity of a _good_ whipping post. It's not something I usually take advantage of. Just not my thing. I don't know if I'd go so far as to call Ange a good whipping post. Which was my point. Like charlie, it's like beating up a child.

I mostly agree with you, especially since that one gets stuck in stutter mode, repeating the same stuff over and over until you're almost sure she/he's a bot. Mostly I can't even get her to answer my posts, I'm not sure she understands when she's been insulted, but occasionally one of her shit threads turns to gold accidentally, like the one last night where she got so turned around she posted a garbled mess about lying in bed listening to her dad fuck her grandmother to death or something. I'm not sure what language it was, but we had a lot of fun with it.

From what I've seen on the other boards she's visited, she's pretty dense when it comes to being corrected, so I expect she'll muddle on for a while until she crosses some line and find herself in daycare purgatory where she can be ignored. I give it a week at this rate...

OK look, trolling works like this for me. It isn't so much what happens to earl here, it's what happens to the next board he tries to infect this way. And also the consequences of his actions here. Think: butterfly wings in china creating a typhoon in California.

Radio Kingdom creates a secure base for that kind of activity.
 
I know many people that actually live in proximity to Earl. Many good friends, actually.
