Basement monsters...

I have them. I refuse to go into my basement before sunrise or after sundown. They are waiting in dark corners to reach out and grab me.
At aprox 3:22 AM, the basement monsters were fighting with something. I heard things falling and moving around in the room right under my bedroom. Not just once, but several times, loud things.... not just sounds of a settling house.

I obviously spent the next several hours with the lights on, listening for them to come up the stairs.

Since I'm working close to home, I took a break to come home and now that it's fully light, I armed myself with the .38 and a pitchfork and investigated that room. I found broken pieces of the glazed block that forms the walls of the basement and a large hole (aprox 6 inches) in the wall. Basement monsters are now breaking holes in the walls?

This does not make me a happy person today....

I dont want to know, I've been afraid of basement monsters since I was a kid and they still scare me. I will NEVER EVER watch antying that is even more scary.
