I didn't say she'll play with herself. I said, she'll play within herself. Meaning, she won't let her confidence overwhelm her ability. She won't think, "I can carry that 275 yards over the water, I'm Michelle Wie!". She'll make the smart play and lay up. Playing within oneself is a commonly used sports psychology. Brett Favre is a guy who does not play within himself. He routinely makes poor throws, or gets intercepted trying to "thread the needle". You can almost hear his thought process: "I'm Brett Favre, and Brett Favre can make this throw!"
