I miss the BB threads flooding the Mf :( butt it's been getting more and more ANAL retentive for some time now, I should get used to it.

If I happen to make a BB post here in the MF, that is where I meant to make it. I dont' have to post in the subforum, and I'll just make another thread IN THE MF if I want to. MOFO. (I don't plan to watch BB ever again, it's an awful show and I probably won't bother making any posts about it ever again)
 
I hate it when you start this "anal rententive" thing, Cassie. :( The whole reason for the BB forum is to make it easier for people like Dr Dave who hate BB and don't want the top twenty threads in the MF to be about something they wouldn't be interested in (and what Eggs said (but we've gone over this a million times before so there's literally no point saying any of it again.)) I think it's a good thing and it worked well the last time.

Anyway, yes there definitely is a UK BB this year on Channel 5. Several of them, in fact, the Celebrity version is supposed to start in August and the regular one in September.
 
I just look at new threads only so I don't worry about that shit. If I need to find something I search for it or scroll throug the list.
 
It is fucking anal. The MF is supposed to be free, sorry you don't like me saying what I think about it.
 
I like the BB forum because when I look at at the MF and it suddenly has about 20 new threads all of which I just don't care about I stop looking at the MF because it's annoying to wade through them all. THAT'S WHY. ALSO I LOVE CASSIE.

Why can't this subforum be attached to the Media forum?
 
I'M the person here who talks about BB more than anyone else. Why would I of all people be trying to restrict BB discussion? Think about it. The whole fucking reason as I explained again and again last year to was to improve the forum. Frankly I was embarrased posting so many BB posts in the Mine Field and keeping those threads high on the forum when to the annoyance of many (and YES there were quite a few people annoyed and I remember specifically asking for days if a BB forum was a good idea and being encouraged by eveyrone.) With the BB forum in place (it's place being right here on the Mine Field index place, not hidden away anywhere) people are much more free to actually talk about BB without disrupting eveyrone else by having twenty five threads on one subject. I think there was a lot more and better discussion last year in the BB forum than there would have been normally (I know I certianly posted more there than I would have if all the BB threads had been in the main MF.)

And yes of course you can say what you want but I can disagree if I believe what you're saying is wrong and unfair.
 
I never thought the BB threads were a disruption, they were part of the life of the MF, they were part of its character. I never saw you ask for opinions about a subforum, or I would have said I didn't like it then, but it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

(I have no idea what you're talking about regarding restricting discussion of BB)
 
You saying it's being "anal" by having a seperate forum for BB makes me think you think it's restrictive.

And don't fucking saying "it wouldn't have mattered anyway" becase we couldn't be having this conversation yet again if it doesn't matter. Chrsit.

^ that's my take on it too. BB's no more annoying here than footie postings from the usual suspects or our lecherous True Blood speculations, IMHO. the MF is what it is. love ya! <3!

Fine, let's not have a BB forum this year and see how it works out. I will not post about BB any less than I normally would and if it's annoying people we can have a vote or something and bring it back.

I disagree. I was sad that the same bickering about the subforum started up again, but not sad enough that I want to get rid of it.
