Now, if you subtract the finite numbers you'll get 9.503. My estimate is that there are well over 5,000 posts in Speak Freely alone. There are at least 3,500 in The Mine Field.

As far as calculating the numbers in The Tea Room and QSF, I merely did a thread start date search, list as posts, ascending, and see what the last one was. Then you take your regular post search and find where that last post is and calculate the difference.

This count DOES include this post.
 
Perhaps the search function will be fixed to produce more than 1000 hits.

Yeah, for some reason they don't like that. A few of us necromancers are frowned upon for dredging up old shit. Though, GTC would have a moogasm if they could search beyond 1000 hits.
 
Otherwise, you just need to be inventive with the search function.

I gotta find a way to fit that into a custom title.
