We did that (sort of) for a streaming-only season on BB back in 2018, BB Over The Top. America had a vote in each eviction, and got to vote for special powers to grant on HGs to save them, etc.

That was a unique season, because it was early in the streaming era, and they decided to keep the feeds on for EVERYTHING, including all the competitions and ceremonies, which they normally block so that they aren't spoiled for TV. It was so great and the fans loved it... so of course, they never did it again after this one time.

The live feed on ITV is virtually pointless because of them not showing "spoilers"...even though the whole concept of a live feed means we should see things as they happen so they can't possibly be spoilers! I remember back on Channel 4 they'd show everything and we used to be able to accurately predict who was nominated based on who the camera was showing while housemates were nominating.
