Biggest Smallville Fuck-up ever.

So I'm watching the new episode and about half-way through I see the most god-almighty screw-up of all time. As you can see, this is not a pre-release. This is a rip from the CW.


I just had to rip the clip and put it on Youtube.

I don't get it.
 
You see the bit where he goes to run? Well they just cut him out of the picture (where the super run should go next in prost production) but they just plain forgot to put it in so he just turns around and vanishes. Even the tradmark wind in Chloe's hair is still there but no super run graphic.
 
What if they say it's because he was super hurt and super fast? Big fuckup if not.
 
Upon closer inspection: Too cheesy to be intentional.
 
It's definitley a post production mistake. The trademark "wooosh" noise isn't even there. The elements of the shot are how they would be before the graphic is put in as well. The turn, then remove the actor then the speed up footage of the double. They just forgot to put it in. I can't believe they would send it to broadcast with such a glaring mistake.
 
Were all human.

Well if its meant to be from Lanas point of view, would she see the blur, or would he just appear to vanish?
 
I'm with Menty, there should be a blur even from Lanas POV - it's a fuck up. Unless Superman can teleport as well now.

Even if it's not a fuck up, it looks REALLY odd.
 
He was teleporting all over the place at the end of superman II.

And lets not forget his giant cellophane S powers.
 
Surely he's been shown super-running from another character's point of view before.
 
So, they're too lazy in post production to bother with CGI now, and since when does Clark perform super powers in front of Chloe? (Admittedly, I've seen about 3 episodes since Season 3).
 
Chloe has known that Clark is an invincible alien for over a year now. Lionel knows as well..


And..from that episode so does Lana now.

Chloe found out when Clark caught a car in mid air while she was watching.

For a guy with super hearing, he seems to have a hard time realising people are near him
 
Pete knows too but he's buggered off to be black somewhere else.
