Black Sails

I don't think it needs all the action, since it's more about the politics of the island than actually fighting. I LIKE IT LESBIAN PIRATES AND HELLLLLLLO JOHN SILVER YOU ARE A SEXY MUTHAFUCKA

Hey I watched the first two episodes. It was pretty decent. Like I thought the first episode was too long because I lost interest a few times and couldn't keep track of who was on whose side. But it was entertaining. Jessica Parker Kennedy is pretty. I agree that John Silver is the weak point. Is he supposed to be a lovable Tyrion type? Because he's really not.

Yeah, he's like a boringly earnest floppy charity fundraiser who'd stop you in the street and keep referring to you as "fella".

People are really starting to complain about the lack of high seas adventure, but I'm still enjoying the island politics. The sunglasses were very silly, though. They looked like something you could buy at Walmart! Also, Eleanor is getting on my nerves because they have written her poorly, IMO. I am intrigued by Miranda Barlow. Can't wait to find out who she is. Captain Flint continues to be HOT.

I just lose track of who is betraying who and what they're all talking about. I think it's about time they went out to sea in the next episode. I didn't get why Max ran over to cuddle Captain Vane after his men raped her. Or why Elanor fucked Captain Vane. Or why Captain Vane didn't say "hey, I'm not in favour of rape!" when Elanor was making her speech.

PEOPLE STILL COMPLAINING ABOUT LACK OF HIGH SEAS ADVENTURE. I continue to enjoy the show for the most part. Miranda Barlow isn't as interesting now that I know who she is. Eleanor redeemed herself a bit only to be double crossed by her father. Even John Silver seemed more interesting this week. Not sure where they're going with Captain Vane, but who I'd really like to know more about is Anne Bonny. Will she ever get to do more than make angry faces from behind the brim of her pirate hat? I have a feeling she'll be helping the prostitute escape, or something.

I had never considered the difficulty in cleaning the bottom of a pirate ship. Captain Flint seems a bit mad, sexy mad... but now I guess he's a boring fuck because he just laid there while Miranda did all the work.

Looks like they'll finally make it out to sea next week.

FUCK TENTS.

I still get confused sometimes when characters are saying "we need to stop thingy from doing thing!" and then "I can't believe thingy betrayed thingy for thingy!" But the acting is good and it's still watchable.

I like Billy Bones I just realised he's Percival from Merlin.

I don't understand why Max chose to stay with the rapey pirates who beat her up instead of going back to her whorehouse?

Max felt betrayed by Eleanor, and felt to get back at her, what better way than to stay with the man who condemned her to her fate to pay off her debt. A man that Eleanor now loathes.

And I agree, I want more Anne Bonny, especially since she was A REAL FEMALE BADASS PIRATE

She is super cute and knows how to give pirate abortions!

People who have been complaining about the lack of pirate swashbuckling adventure think last night's was the best episode so far. I watched a lot of it through my fingers, because it was pretty gross sometimes.

I thought it was the best episode so far too. Not just because of action but because the storylines came together and it managed to tell several stories in an entertaining way. I liked the accountant guy eating neck.

HEAVING BOSOMS!

Yeah, it was pretty exciting. I liked the parts where Flint had conversations with Billy on the ship.... but now Billy's got the letter and he'll be wondering about Flint again.

This episode was good too. I'm glad the Max stuff is over because it was a bit drawn out. I guess it's lucky that Vane's away meeting with a giant(!?) so they won't have to explain killing eight of his men to him. For some reason I didn't realise Jack and Anne Bonny were lovers. I thought they were just pirate mates! Billy Bones obviously isn't dead.

I was mad at Flint for killing Billy, but then I realized they didn't show his body like they did when the guy was conveniently crushed by the ship that time. So I don't think he's dead either.

We finally got to see Anne Bonny without her hat!

I LIKED THIS EPISODE. I think the characters have all developed well because in the first few weeks I was confused and couldn't tell them apart but now I know who they are and stuff! There was some good humour with the "would you like something up your arse?" line and Randall farting. And the completely crazy ending with Vane and his dirty cock was great.
