Back on topic, though, the regulations are just odd, especially ones coming from the religious right. They espouse and enforce all these ethical and moral values that on paper might make sense, but turn around and do as we please. The hypocrisy is sickening, and yet any moderate or liberal is held up to their standards so they can crucify the moderates or liberals when they screw up, which they will.
IMO, the language on the air should reflect the language on the street. But the double-edged sword says that can perpetuate the truly negative aspect of that, a good example being lyrics from rap songs being common place in society. This is stuff for papers and debates, and still nothing will be done, sadly.
