Same things -- search engine spiders. The first is obvious, the second is probably GigaSearch.

^basically an automated program on a computer following links on webpages, so search engines like google and yahoo can get more accurate results.

OR they could be crawling for email addresses to use in SPAM mailing lists :D

That's why you NEVER put your email address on anything without altering it somehow.
The Bots will scan it and put it in their data base.
You put your Ex's email address on everything.
 
I erased my ex's email. I wanted him out of my life...
 
I did the same with mine.
 
Apparently, the last thing I saw from his myspace (before I deleted mine) was that apparently "She Came Back!". I can only assume it's his ex seeing as he had only one girlfriend before me. It's a shame, cuz he said she was a real psycho and verbally abusive. But I supposed when you have self esteem as low as his, you believe any shit that your spewed. I hope he learns one of these days....sigh.
I was so good to that man, pity he had all kinds of 'issues'.
 
I keep getting duped as well. that's why i've just about completely forsaken ever hoping for a decent relationship.
 
Luckily I was rescued by my now husband. Without him, I wouldn't have recognized the bullshit my ex was feeding me. Very passive agressive and emotionally manipulative.
