Fuddlemiff

Is this real life?
I love Peter Kay. :phpheart::phpheart::phpheart:

Poor old R Wayne. I was rooting for him! :(

Hang on, isnt this on next friday, or have I already missed it?

Just checked, I have indeed missed the first new comedy from Peter Kay in four years.

I knew I should have set the sky plus.

Got something else to blame the inlaws for now, if they werent here tonight I might have remembered this was on.

How could you miss the live final?!?!

Cat Deeley told the audience to shut the fuck up. :D

Cat Deeley! She's on So You Think You Can Dance..they've even started spoofing her on Mad TV.

I don't "get" Peter Kay.

This show was a big spoof of talent shows. It was perfect in every way. :D

Comic Kay wins 'X Factor battle'

Comic Peter Kay has beaten X Factor winner Leon Jackson in the singles chart with his spoof reality TV show song, The Winners Song.

Kay's single - taken from his Channel 4 comedy Britain's got the Pop Factor, in which he satirises TV talent shows - charted at number two.

The song is performed by Kay as Geraldine McQueen, an overweight transsexual from Northern Ireland.

Jackson's ballad Don't Call this Love was at three, with Pink at number one.

A spokesman for Polydor, Kay's record label, said: "We're delighted we've won the battle of the X Factor.

"I don't know what Simon Cowell is feeling right now but I know mid-week he wasn't happy with us because he's thrown a lot of weight behind Leon Jackson and gave him a real push."

Geraldine sent her own message of consolation to Jackson.

She said: "Leon is a lovely wee boy, he's a Scottish Michael Buble. There's enough room for everybody.

"I never knew he had a song because I've been in hospital all week - he's not number one though is he? Isn't it Pink? I love Pink, although I wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of her."

Oasis were knocked off the top of the album chart after only a week at number one by Keane's new entry Perfect Symmetry.

Dig Out Your Soul moved down one place to number two, while Irish boy band Boyzone's new album Back Again - No Matter What was at four.

Its like Dudley Dursley grew up and got a sense of humor!

BTW, Jesus Christ Superstar is a crappy musical. SO SAY I! AYE!

He looks alarmingly like someone I know

Someone in the office? :)

No, someone I went to school with.
