BSG countdown thread

I felt a bit "meh" about it as well. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't that fantastic either.

Adama going behind Roslin's back made him seem really weak willed. Rather than standing up in defiance and doing what he wanted, like he would have a couple of seasons ago, he acted like a put upon husband. I hope next week he's upfront and just tells Roslin that he let Kara go (which was the obvious decision from the start!) and to hell with whatever she has to say.

Hmm, what else... well the Cylon business was interesting to begin with. It certainly showed off Tricia Helfer's acting skills... god she's good. But it was hard to tell, does every single Cylon skinjob get a vote? Does that mean there are equal numbers of each model? Or do they vote as one? If so, then how does Boomer's vote carry more power than all the rest of the Eights combined? Oh, it's all a rich tapestry...

Scorpy Gauis... not sure what to make of him. Do they really need to make it so much more complicated?
 
Yeah the Boomer vote thing didn't make any sense. If she was allowed to go against her model, then they should just let every individual Cylon have a vote. I was hoping they'd unbox D'anna or something. I think Boomer is doing Cavil.. ick. All the Grace Park fanboys will start think Cavil is the shit since his dick has touched the holy grail.
 
Good episode, again. Although I think Starbuck yelled "WE'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY" a few too many times. Careful, Kara, you're turning into Michael.

Also, I have a theory as to the identity of the final Cylon.

Grace Park naked was a bit annoying. And yes of course I freeze framed it (like everyone else who downloaded or recorded it, I bet), but you didn't really see anything. Naked dancing just seems like a really lame ratings grabber. BSG's better than that. It doesn't even make sense story wise, since it was probably supposed to show how comfortable the Cylons are wit eachother, only she was wearing pants. So she obviously wasn't that comfortable with her nakedness.
 
^True, but it shows Cavel's personality. After all, this was the same Cylon who was making Tigh's wife trade sexual favors for her husband's survival.
 
Grace Park is extremely annoying to me all the time thanks to her SUPER annoying fanboys. They've kinda ruined her for me. SHARON + HELO 4EVER!!
 
I've never been a fan of Boomer really.

They should show six doing naked yoga, though.

Also one of the best parts of Six of One was Racetrack playing strip poker.

I love Racetrack. :love:
 
And Hotdog was as well. I love Hotdog.

They should've invited Dee.

I've seen both now and thought they were great. Maybe I'm just easy to please!?

The emotional moments were really well done as usual, with Lee leaving and saying goodbye and the music and Edward James Olmos is probably the best actor in the universe maybe because he hardly shows any emotion but while doing so SHOWS A LOT OF EMOTION. Or something. Yeah, Racetrack is hot.

Tigh shooting Adama was a cool bit too and I'm looking forward to more of Michael Hogan kicking ass and shooting eyes.

It was funny how Doral and Simon just sat there saying nothing in all the cylon scenes. Box them! But keep a Cavil because Dean Stockwell is awesome.

ALSO AWESOME was Baltar. When I heard about the cult story I feared he could end up like Gul Dukat in season seven of DS9, but they seem to be handling it completely different (except for the sleeping with his followers...but come on, it's Baltar, what do you expect!) Lots of great innuendos "can you feel God's presnce?" "You know, I think I can!" and such. The first girl he slept with was hot. And the redhaired one with the son. ANd the one he shaved with. She was a bit weird going all "GOD GAVE ME THE STRENGTH TO SMITE THEM" I thought she was taking the piss. Don't know. She was hot. LOL at the scene with two Baltar's. Amazing. And it was great how he actually showed contrition in the first ep and was willing to die so that the boy could live. Was it a real miracle? Where's the stuff with him and Tori going? Think they'll genuinely fall in love? Why does she keep her bra on during sex?

So I enjoyed it.
 
Yeah so far, so good.

Also I'm done rewatching season 3 now and I'm seriously crshing in Racetrack right now.

FINALLY! So how long do you have to wait to see the third episode? Hopefully not long!

I loved the Baltar scenes the best. He is probably my favorite character on the show. He can really act with his face... he does freaked out the best.
 
Tuesday again. So just four days behind.

I think Baltar actually said "oh my giddy aunt!" at one point!
 
I love Baltar, but everytime he's on screen, I can't help but think of his gay character from Bridget Jones' Diary.
