BSG countdown thread

Yeah.. I'm sick of Cavil. I don't know why everyone loves whathisface, he's not a great actor. Oh I know Quantum Leap was a good show and everything, but Dean Stockwell (remembered his name!) isn't my favorite actor, and Cavil seams out of place with the other cylons.

You're so wrong(!) That's why Cavil's good, he's a pure villain whereas the other cylons are all a bit emo. I bet he was the driving force behind nuking the Colonies. One thing BSG is kind of lacking is good villains, like Weyounn and Dukat in DS9.

Bleh.. he's not a convincing villain. It's like he's always smirking through his lines. Six at the beginning of the series was the ultimate villain, now she's softened up. Cavil kinda comes across like a comic book bad guy.. trying to exterminate the humans, for no reason.

I can never tell if Dean Stockwell does these pauses in his speaches for dramatic effect, or if he just cant remember his lines.

But yeah, charisma he has, acting chops, not so much.

OMG I'M HAVING MY FIRST SPAT WITH WACKY! Don't worry we'll have make up sex later.

I didn't like his delivery of "SAY WHAT?!"

Jeffery Combs should be the head cylon.

I think the other male Cylon (not Leoben or Simon or Cavil) is probably more evil than Cavil. He took charge of everything on New Caprica, but now he's been delegated to the sidelines.

Doral. Or the Kevin Spacey cylon.

In case you haven't seen it yet, I'm gonna use the spoiler tags. It was a great episode and I can't wait till ALL OF YOU HURRY UP AND WATCH IT!

lol.. Baltar is an oily snake! Will what he said to the Centurion cause them to rise up against the skinjobs? Can the Centurions communicate to each other.. sort of instantaneously or something? Does the show even have enough time left to explore that? Probably not.

There was way too much going on I should watch it again. Loved it when D'Anna snapped Cavil's neck, he's a nasty fucker. Pretty cool he can't download.

Yay, Roslin loves Adama! Well we already knew that but it's nice to hear her say it. The visions of her dying and Adama sitting with her made me cry a little. I love them together, even if Roslin gets on my nerves sometimes.

Yeah and I liked
The way D'Anna was joking around telling Roslin she was one of the Final Five.

Loved this episode! Much better than last week, but looking back on it last week was more of a setup for this week or something.

Just great all around. Edward James Olmos and Mary McDonnell really hold this show together.

Added bonus for seeing D'Anna and Elosha again.

Plus they are actually at a Starbucks

Except he wrote that big rant afterwards about how there were no mens tv shows anymore.

I was a bit so-so about this week's episode. The first half was a bit too talky and I found the concentration on Roslin a bit yawnworthy since I can't stand her acting, but it picked up once D'Anna was unboxed.

Interesting that none of the final four were featured in this episode. Next week's is called Revelations, so hopefully we'll find out who lucky number 5 is.

I don't think they're going to reveal the 5th cylon next week. I think the previews were just being tricky, cause they made it look like it's Starbuck.

I wonder if the Colonials have the double jeopardy law. One revelation could be Roslin telling everyone what Baltar said (but that he already stood trial over).

Hmm, having watched the promo now.. looks like it's all F4 related. They all spill the beans. Airlocking is involved and a blue planet. When Starbuck stops the airlock doors from opening it sounds like she says "those Cylons just gave us our enemy". Ooh, Lee punches Tigh. Roslin and D'Anna on a planet.. looks a bit hostile.

Second interesting trailer here http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=lhBOGoMzn0Q&feature=related
