BSG countdown thread

P.S. Brooklyn Bridge?!

Didn't see no bridge ruins. Looked almost like it was the ruins of an Opera House.(?) Almost like the Opera House visions of Roslin and D'Anna were visions of a past life or something maybe.

I read on Battlestar wiki that people think it's New York and that you can see Brooklyn Bridge at the end (there is a bridge in the last few frames), but yeah, most of the structures are probably supposed to be the ones that Lee looks at in the book at the beginning.

I kept hoping that Tigh would go and talk to Caprica Six, after he was out as a Cylon. I JUST LIKE THEM OK? I think Tigh should have a hot girlfriend, who loves him and doesn't give Cavil head. I guess no one can give Cavil head now, the bastard.

LOL, well they had a very very brief moment on Earth, when Six (well, it's a Six, I'm guessing it's Caprica?) touches Tigh's hand.

Yeah, I saw that! I'm glad they let her out of her cell, I guess they didn't have any choice. I wonder how many Sixes, and Eights there are left. Seems to be a lot more of them than any other model.

Depends if you include the non-rebelious Cylons. There are probably still millions of those. It's odd how earlier in the season it seemed like the civil war was more or less an even split (as far as numbers go) between rebels and non-rebels, but now there's just one rebel Cylon baseship left that we know of. I guess the others will catch up with them next year.

Oh.. I thought the non rebel Cylons were killed at the Hub.

Cool pictures.. looks like it was NYC then. Which is kinda lame, imo.

Well at least it proves it's really Earth... probably. Some people claim it can't be Earth because we didn't see any recognisable continents. I dunno... I'd be a bit annoyed if they realise in the next episode that it isn't Earth and have to carry on searching. It's more believable that this is Earth, it's destroyed, but there's some clue about where the 13th tribe went.

Maybe the 13th tribe is dead too.

I prefer to think someone from the 13th tribe was the one using Starbuck's viper to show the way to Earth, but considering Earth's a nuclear wasteland, I wouldn't put it past them to kill off everyone besides Galactica and the Cylon rebels.

You know.. it looks like BSG takes place in the future relative to us, and that we are the descendants of the 13th tribe. THEY BECAME US.. anyway and maybe that means we are Cylons or something.

Saw it, good episode. The arrival at Earth was well done. Edward James Olmos and Michael Hogan should win some awards. Did you notice Tyrol laughing in the background when they found holocaust Earth? He's lost it!

"All of this has happened before..."
"But it doesn't need to happen again."

It has inspired some wild theories AS USUAL. There are people wondering if that's even really earth.. but I think it is. WHERE THE HELL ARE THE LORDS OF KOBOL?

The next part of the season has been incread to twelve episodes, by the way, and with the tv movies too it's almost like getting a proper season five, really!

That may make waiting until January (again) somewhat tolerable. I doubt it, though.

I saw Tyrol laughing and shaking his head when he saw the Earth ruins. I could almost hear him thinking, "Well, THIS fucking figures". He was pretty resigned about things when he and Anders got 'arrested', too.

They managed to cram a lot of things into this episode, and it mostly worked. The ending was just perfect. :)

They even remembered to have Leoben this week!

Tori going SUPER EVIL so quickly is a bit weird, but I guess she's just an insecure little bitch.

Tyrol just not giving a fuck about anything was the best part of an awesome episode.

"Whhhop, they know I'm a cylon. Oh wells."

"Heh, the Earth's fucked up. Cool."

He should have dropped Nicky on his head and just shrugged.

I don't even remember that part.. I wonder what I was looking at.

I just need for the sci-fi channel to rerun this at a PROPER HOUR because I missed one frakking awesome last episode until the new year.

*sobs*

Tyrol's smirking really irked me. I think he did it when he was about to be airlocked too. I thought maybe he'd just given up on life after Cally dying and everything, but then we saw him looking after Nicky like a good dad. Meesa confuzzled.
