She was really good in Skeleton Crew so this is encouraging casting! But probably means we aren't getting a Skeleton Crew season 2.
I don't know much about her, but I love the way they revealed it and the fact that unlike some other projects I could mention *cough* COMMUNITY *cough* this thing seems to actually be happening at pace. SMG and Alyson on daytime TV the other day together as well, Willow is all but guaranteed to be back, and I expect ASH to be a certainty as well. I wonder how long until filming starts.
I am still wary of this thing being Picard levels bad, but I'm just choosing to be hopeful and wish it the best because the Buffyverse is just plain fun when done right and I hope this is done right.

I just randomly googled "what age was Giles in Buffy" and it says ASH was 43 in season 1. Existential crisis time!
