Painstakingly nerdy? Debatable. I've got a master's degree and have taken the hardest classes available to me at work, and passed them with flying colors. So, you can say that I'm "nerdy" in a sense.

Obviously wimpy? Nope. Sorry, you struck out on that one.

See, breaking out the "all trolls are antisocial nerds that are wimps and they take out their aggressions online because they can't relate to a person IRL" just shows how much you don't fucking know about us, and why we do what we do. Has it ever occured that maybe were pissed off for a very specific reason, and do what we do because were pissed?

I post at other boards. I don't troll on them. Why? Because they have clear cut rules about what they expect from me as a member. EI doesn't. They pick and choose what they want to warn on, and pick and choose who they will warn. They play favorites. This dates back to before EI even existed, to the days when it was SlipstreamBBS. And, seeing whats currently going on over there, it isn't going to change anytime soon.

Now. You can come over here with your annoying little posting quirks, calling us all wimps and flame us with your half-assed flames, but don't expect to get anywhere because you are a lightweight. You don't know anything about us. You don't know why we do what we do. And, from what I've seen, you haven't even attempted to find out why. Which is cool. Other people are here to spam, be annoying, whatever. But, at least they have the sense to leave the trolling to the professionals and stay out of our way when we are on a rampage.
