Although unemployed, Carole works as a part time Young People's Sexual Health and HIV worker. She has spent a large part of her life protesting and being actively involved in anti-war demonstrations.
Carole has been a foster carer before, and says the person she'd most like to meet is Nelson Mandela.
When asked what the other housemates should expect she said: "I am gonna shake it something rotten and they will be shaking s***less. If people want an argument, here’s the f***ing argument!"
She thinks Peter Kay and Ricky Gervais are geniuses, and admits that 20 years ago she sang in a band known as Fancy Footwork.
Carole is a massive fan of Big Brother and says she will use the experience to "bring important issues into the public eye, wants some excitement and to maybe find love in the house

A loud bisexual anti-war protester. It's like they read my diary entries on my least favourite people and put one in the house in the form of Carole. That is if I had a diary. I don't. Bascially I just don't like anti-war protesters. Especially those anti-war protesters that jump up and down in their back yard waving peace flags thinking they're changing the world without a real grasp of the issues!
But to be fair she might be entertaining in the house. The public loved her. But then again the British public love an underdog. Might be interesting to see Lesley and Carole try and overcome their different lifestyles in light of their similar ages. Maybe she will molest one of the twins. No, probably not..

53 isn't really very old. I'm surprised she's even a grandmother..
Anyway, I hate to say it, because people said similar things about Charley, but I think Carole was a worthy housemate because her constant moaning made the show interesting to watch. It was great to see Ziggy getting more and more exasperated with her behaviour, but not being able to take the bull by the horns because he was scared of looking bad. That was entertaining.
