The Canadian Football League is a professional sports league in Canada. The CFL is the highest level of competition in Canadian football. The league consists of nine teams, each located in a city in Canada. They are divided into two divisions: four teams in the East Division and five teams in the West. Funded: January 19, 1958.

Lions quarterback Nathan Rourke named CFL's Most Outstanding Canadian
Rourke finished his season completing 255-of-324 passes (78.7 per cent) with 25 TDs, 10 interceptions and a league-high six 300-yard games while also rushing for 304 yards on 39 carries (7.8-yard average) with seven TDs.

Bombers quarterback Zach Collaros captures second straight MOP
Collaros, 34, earned 47 votes after guiding Winnipeg to a CFL-best 15-3 record. He led the league in TD passes (37) and was second in passing (career-best 4,183 yards) while completing 305-of-436 passes (70 per cent).
 
Title Wave: Argos wash away Bombers dynasty hopes

McLeod Bethel-Thompson made 15 of 28 passes for 203 yards before dislocating his thumb in the fourth-quarter. He was replaced by backup QB Chad Kelly who made 4-6 passes for 43 yards and had a key scramble that helped set up a touchdown. giving the Boatmen their 18th Grey Cup.

Zach Collaros was 14-23 for 183 yards, a touchdown and an interception on an injured ankle, as the Bombers’ bid to become the CFL’s first three-peat champion in 42 years fell short.

Stampeders resigns DB Brad Muhammad
The 27-year-old made 16 starts at halfback and finished the 2022 campaign third on the Stampeders in defensive tackles with 50 and second in knockdowns with 10. In 21 career CFL contests, Muhammad has 64 defensive tackles including three tackles for loss, five special-teams stops, two interceptions, 11 knockdowns and one forced fumble.

Some sign Nyles Morgan to two-year extension
Morgan, 26, only appeared in six games last season due to injuries and registered 41 defensive tackles and one forced fumble. Prior to joining the Elks, Morgan played five games with the XFL's Seattle Dragons where he recorded 16 combined tackles.
 
Solomon Elimimian, John Bowman headline 2023 CFHOF class
Crawford’s career spanned nine seasons and 134 games for the BC Lions and Argonauts. He was named a Division All-Star on five occasions from 1983 to 1987 and a CFL All-Star four times during that period. - Elimimian played in 133 games for BC and Saskatchewan from 2010 to 2019. He holds the distinction of being the first and only defensive player to be recognized as the league’s Most Outstanding Player after setting a then-CFL record of 143 tackles in 2014.

Top of the draft chart: Hamilton Tiger-Cats
There are question marks at a number of positions on this team. Some of that has to do with the puzzle of “who’s next?” in, say, the secondary. You’ll see that I take a flight of fancy at one of those positions. More question marks pop up – but in a good way – due to the ‘Cats great depth of talent and ratio flexibility on the defensive line.
