Chelsea v Inter

First time in ages I've been even semi interested in a Chelsea match...well if you don't count the Man City match due to the Terry/Bridge trainwreck.

The Special One is coming home!

I hope Mourinho takes the reins when SAF calls it quits (in about 2027).

Nah, that honour will go to Sam Allardyce!

Oh, fuck off already!

Arsenal can have Phil Brown, in that case!

lol. What do you think about Phil Brown getting axed? I fucking hate the man but I think it's pretty harsh considering how much he's done for Hull. It wasn't like Arsenal steam rollered them the other day either. Yeah they're fighting relegation but what can the board expect with a minimal transfer kitty and hardly the most exciting current squad?

I reckon it's got more to do with the retarded way he manages the club itself. Saying that it was a regular occurrence for his players to have fights at training sessions and being a total numpty by making the team sit in the centre circle at half time and bollock them in front of a football crowd are retarded moves to make.

I still think it's harsh though. I thought Hughes getting sacked was harsh too. No fucking patience in the game any more. Especially at board level.

I think it's catch 22. Hull are never going to have the money to compete in the Premier League. That's the harsh fact. I doubt it would matter who would manage them, they'd be in a similar position.

I think Brown's sacking had more to do with other factors than league position to be honest. His players had started falling out with each other (Nicky Barmby v Jimmy Bullard - lol, it's a pussy-off), and he had divisions with the board after the ousting of the previous chairman (later revealed to be a crook). Also he has a tendency to make a mockery of the club with his actions. His ranting after the Arsenal FA Cup affair and the fucking bizarre half-time team talk a season or so ago - huh??

I guess his time had come really. He was lucky to get as long as he did compared to other club, and certainly to other countries. If you want real madness look at UAE club Al Ahli, who have just appointed Henk Ten Cate - their fourth manager of the season.

Can we start laughing at Chelsea & Drogba now?

Absolutely!

They just got spanked by the Special One at their chicken hut of a stadium. I'm about to go to The Sun's football forums to troll the fuck out of the Chavs right now. I'm loving it.

The Sevilla match was more entertaining.

Chelsea - Inter suffered from the vagina syndrome that would often occur when big names are involved, each team turtling and waiting for the other to make a mistake. A Chelsea - Liverpool match (you know which one I'm talking about) .. it was not.

Was nice to see Eto'o give a glimpse of his former self, though.
