I want to smell dark matter
Good episode. The IG-888 (DID I GET THAT RIGHT, TOMTREK?) assassin droids were cool. The background music was a bit different too. I think R3 must be evil rather than retarded. I hope R2 kicks his metal butt.
 
Wasn't as good as the previous episode, but still not bad.

I hate hate hate when they try and use rock/techno music to score Star Wars because it rarely works, and it really wasn't needed in this episode except to say "LOOK AT THIS THUMPIN' BEAT WE'RE DOWN WITH THE KIDS".

And they were IG-86s.


ALSO: the episode after next stars JAR-JAR. YES. THANKS. THAT'S IT. THAT'S WHAT I WANTED TO SEE. "Hmmm, I wonder what happened to Jar-Jar in the clone wars." I thought, "I'd much rather see what happened to him than see what happened to a bunch of clone troppers who kick ass."
 
I enjoyed this one a lot. The IG's were definitely cool and the overall polish of the series really does continue to impress.

I really like Ahsoka, she's awesome. She has a bad-ass reverse grip saber style as well. Her and Anakin's Padawan/Master relationship also clicks well. Anakin really is a lot more likable in the series, eh.

I do hope they start to let the Separatists win a few times instead of Grievous high-tailing it after another botched attack and fucking up yet another mammoth star cruiser.


I've been reading Knights Of The Old Republic and I'm up-to-date with it now. Going to move on to Legacy soon and see how that is. KoTOR has been good but it's no Tales of the Jedi. Then again, nothing is these days. :(
 
Jar Jar episode will be the best thing ever.
 
Best episode yet this week! Grevious actually got to kill a few people, the animation just keeps getting better and better, the action was exciting and R2 kicked that jerk droid's metal ass.
 
Yeah, it was good. I'm glad they finally let Grevious kick some ass. Anakin really had no reason to be pissy at Ahsoka for taking him on alone considering it was his fault she was alone because he was off to get R2 (I'm betting one of the main reasons he wanted R2 back so badly was so that Padmé wouldn't yell at him for losing her droid).

But we really need to start to see points where the Republic lose, and see some Jedi die. It's the Clone Wars, but so far it's just been The Adventures of Anakin Where He Always Wins (Also There's A War Going On).
 
The pacing and the action was top notch this week. Really good episode and Ahsoka is a great character.

It was good to see Grievous hand out some grievous bodily harm for once but I had to laugh when we saw him running away from the burning wreckage of yet another of his command posts.

Definitley need to see the Republic getting its ass slapped for once, yes.
 
Also, let's spell Grievous correctly because it's annoying me.

I can hardly talk when it comes to perfect spelling though so forget it.. :)
 
They really should tell the Clones that the first thing to do when assulting one of Grievous' strongholds is to blow up his ship so he can't get away.

Of course it doesn't matter because Grievous (and his ship) are protected by the Invulnerable Power of Prequels because we know they're still around by Episode III. Which is the problem for a lot of characters in the show, really.
 
Yep, you know the end game for most of the characters beforehand which was kind of the point in the Prequel movies but doesn't work as well in the series.

I really hope Ahsoka is one of the Jedi that gets away in the end and that she isn't offed by Anakin. Though the latter would be a gutsy thing to do on the Cartoon Network!

I might have a go at making a model of Ahsoka in Maya at some point. I need to dust off my pitiful 3D modeling skillz.
 
It would be interesting to see her live, and if she's popular enough I wouldn't be surprised if she does so she can pop up again and again in the EU, but if they actually do something where she gets horribly murdered by Asajj/Dooku/Grievous/or even Sideous that would be cool. It's not that I don't like the character, it's just it would be a pretty awesome twist and they could proably make it link nicely into Anakin's whole obession to stop death in Episode III.
 
That's a good point. I completely didn't register the fact that she's not in the movies then and Anakin hasn't turned at the start of EP III so where the hell is she?

If Sidious killed her though Anakin might not be so forgiving when he finds out who he is in EP III. Though he was still responsible for millions of deaths by that point so Anakin isn't exactly famed for his rationality and Sidious would still be ultimatley responsible...

We shall have to see how it pans out and hope they don't fuck it up.
 
They could have Ahsoka in the live action show. PLAYED BY SOMEONE FIT.
 
She would probably be older than 14 at that point too.

You really don't want to know what I just came across when looking for profile pics of her to setup some image planes in Maya if I ever get around to having a shot at modeling her.
