Continuum

It was pretty good. Add that to Defiance and Being Human and so far so good.

Add to that Warehouse 13(starts Monday) and True Blood and Burn Notice(June) and so far so good.

Soon blood and chrome out of the BSG Franchise. If trek can have a Franchise, so can the competition.

Blood and Chrome was a one off.

The second episode of season 2 was last night. I think I will be able to figure out all the stuff that's happened in season 1 without having to go back and watch it, since they refer to things that already happened quite a bit. Like last night, I was all.... OH that's why the FBI guy is suspicious of Kiera (I think he's FBI). He actually saw her disappear in an explosion! But you'd think that would spark a great deal of curiosity, and not so much animosity? Whatever! I like it so far, and will keep watching.

I think he already suspected she was working with the terrorists and being invisible would be really useful to a terrorist. OR SOMETHING.

WATCH OUT FOR MAGDA.

Well to be fair she did tell the DA guy the truth. Its not her fault he didn't believe her.

In their "previously seen" clips, they were showing stuff from season one I had absolutely no memory of... seems I missed watching the season finale. Oopsie.

iIm watching Canadian pace but apparently they're taking a break for like three weeks for some stupid reason. Magda Apanowicz is really attractive.

How long do I have to wait for Magda?

I think she first appeared in episode three (of season 2.)

MAGDA!!!! I hope she's not evil!

Okay, someone pls tell me what the deal is with the guy in prison who the rival gangs are hilariously fighting over? Was he with Liber8?

BAG O' HEADS!

He's Alex's stepbrother. He joined Liber8 and was set up to take the fall for the terrorist attack last season. He's scene in the future scenes too as some kind of terrorism guru or something.

So is the kind of goofy hippie-like guy Alex's father? I can't remember his name but he's the one who told Kiera that there are freelance time travelers, and when Alex took the eye drop drug he remembered him talking to his mother.

The girl that Alex visited in the hospital told him that you don't necessarily see the past as it actually happened but as you wish it had happened. So we don't know if that guy is his father or he wishes he was for some reason. It's a mystery!

The hippy guy travelled back in time with Kiera and the terrorsts, but he ended up in 1992 rather than 2012. That's why he's a bit crazy.

Filthy Whore:

The actor they got to play older prison guy looks freakishly like him too.

I'm pretty sure it's just the same guy in old age make-up...

Damn, that's some good make-up! I can usually spot that but it fooled me.

TURNS OUT it's done with CGI: http://www.carl9000.com/news/?p=919
“We shot (an) older actor as Julian, then Richard duplicated (his) performance on green screen. Then (we) warped Richard’s features on to other actor. Richard Harmon was amazing, following other actor as him! Great compositing work by one of our senior compers, Nadine Blackler”.
