The season opener was pretty good although half the characters seem to be missing now and it SMELLS of budget cuts. I liked how Emily turned into the Black Widow because they have the same hair colour. SHE BETTER NOT DIE. I liked that Lucas was excited to being hacker stuff with other nerds.
I saw an ad for Continuum the other day, I don't remember when it starts, but I do remember they're going to show it at 11pm. 11pm is a fuck you you're cancelled time SYFY is the WORST.
Continuum has always had good action scenes and I liked the one at the start of the episodes with the robot suits and I like Magda a lot and I hope there's a lot more Magda in the series because I like her character but I also really like Magda Apanowicz.
Emily rescuing herself and killing two adult men was the best. She should have her own spin-off where she kills bad men and takes baths. But now she's gone away AGAIN and I'm guessing we won't see her again until the finale where she'll have sex with Alec and Jason will jump into bed with them right after and say "and that was the moment I was conceived!"
I really think bald cop guy is literally going to turn into RoboCop now.
So they finally revealed a bit more of the mythology of the show and explained some key things (like why Alec sent Liber8 back in time in the first place.) I don't know if it all works with the continunity of the show but when the season is finished I'll read Continuum Wiki (theremust be one right) to check.
Alec was right that Emily is much hotter than Jason's mum. SHE BETTER COME BACK NOW.
Except, it's Kellogg that is the wild card. He was the only one in the execution chamber who was NOT a terrorist. He was the Tycoon. The crappy future is about the government collapsing to be overtaken by corporations. That's what tycoons do. Even Kyra understands that liber8 wasn't the problem, Kellogg is. Take out Kellogg and Alec doesn't lose his company. According to this, the time traveler doesn't destroy the future by changing politics or manipulating a war situation, but by having advance knowledge of key industry. it's always about the money.
DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN EPISODE SIX OF SEASON FOUR
WELL, it's over. The finale was pretty good. I mean, you could tell certain things were rushed and never got developed the way they would have if it had been a complete season. I'm still not entirely sure what the Traveller actually did. He was just kind of there. Not having Emily in the episode at all was disappointing. And it's a nitpick but I would have liked to have seen Kiera in her CMR suit one last time? It didn't feel right that she was in normal clothes the whole episode. And now she's a time duplicate and can't have a proper life in the future she helped create? That's pretty sad! But yeah. It was a pretty good. At least they resolved everything, even if not in as full a way as would have been ideal.
Kellog in INDIAN TIMES was funny but won't the teach them to be bastards?
