cooking jokes

OH I did, didn't I? LOL... I'll think of something.

Hi Gianni Gebbia, how are you today?

LOL! So did anyone click on that link anyway?
OMG I have a cooking joke!
What did one pot say to the other?
Don't stir me!

Fine, Cassie. I'm about to have to ride the subway for an hour. I expect I will many many pages of Harry Potter during that time.

And how are you?

^What a coincidence. So am I.

I've got the second half of Schrodinger's Cat to finish up.

I looked.

The cat is dead.

A young woman, in the course of her college life, came to terms with her homosexuality and decided to come out of the closet. Her plan was to tell her mother first; so on her next home visit, she went to the kitchen, where her mother was busying herself stirring stew with a wooden spoon. Rather nervously, she explained to her that she had realized she was gay.

Without looking up from her stew, her mother said, "You mean, lesbian?"

"Well... yes."

Still without looking up: "Does that mean you lick women down below?"

Caught off guard, the young woman eventually managed to stammer an embarrassed affirmative; whereupon her mother turned to her and, brandishing the wooden spoon threateningly under her nose, snapped: "Don't you *EVER* complain about my cooking again!"

I'm doing good, started reading Heretics of Dune this morning. Not my favorite of the Dune series, but still excellent. I'm about to spend a couple hours cooking supper, then back to SPAMMING lol.

I didn't click the link, LC cause I didn't know if it was really jokes or if the joke would be on whoever clicked the link.

Heretics of Dune put me off the series. I really liked them all through God Emperor, then couldn't finish Heretics and gave up on Herbert.

The Santaroga Barrier and The Dosadi Experiment were both awesome books though IMHO.

I've read all six books too many times to count. Heretics and Chapterhouse are my least favorite. I think FH got a little perverted in his old age. I haven't read anything else that he's written yet. I will someday.

Ineed to read the rest of them someday...

Dune, Dune Messiah, and Children of Dune are all in the same time period. I almost think of them as being all the same book, just too big to put in one. Anyway.. GEoD is hard at first, because it's so different and there's not as much action, BUT it has come to be my favorite of the series.

I could have moved this back if I was online at the time and wanted a FORUM WAR.
