I think there were inconsistencies in Calculon's backstory.
 
Yes. In one episode he was a struggling single mother battling against extreme poverty. The very next episode, he was Joliet Jake Blues, trying to break out of prison dressed only in a collar, tie & hat like Yogi fucking Bear.
