If you're reading this, you're probably at home and beginning to realize just how much live sports programming you consume on a daily basis. The absence of your favorite league is jarring, and you're not exactly sure how to proceed. Hey, there are only so many episodes of "Love is Blind" one person can take before they find themselves resorting to a diet of old NBA Slam Dunk Contest mixtapes and Tom Brady conspiracy theory videos. ... The KBL has been suspended since Feb. 29. Officials from all 10 teams met Tuesday morning in Seoul to discuss whether to resume play on March 29 as scheduled, but they elected to abandon that plan, the source said.

Ex-Texas A&M guard David Edwards dies after battling coronavirus

David Edwards, a guard for the Texas A&M basketball team in the early 1990s who holds the school's single-season record for total assists, has died of complications from the coronavirus. A university official confirmed the news to The Dallas Morning News after Edwards' former Aggies teammate Charles Henderson posted about it on social media earlier Monday.
A three-time all-SWC player, Edwards is one of six players in Division I history to record a triple-double in consecutive games, doing so March 5, 1994, and March 10, 1994. Former St. John's guard Lee Green also died after battling the coronavirus, his former teammate Lamont Middleton told The New York Post on Monday. Green played for St. John's from 1991 to '94, averaging 2.4 points.

McGregor also recommended the Irish public resist the urge to go out during the "peak" of the weekend on Saturday, stating vigilance was needed. Ireland has issued some "lockdown" measures to be placed while attempting to slow the spread of coronavirus, but in recent days, experts have suggested the country is inching closer to being the latest to expand on more restrictive lockdown measures.
