COVID-19 check in thread

It started just fine. I spent enough money on it fixing the alternator etc so it better had.

Just walked the dogs, ate bfast with coffee, and am going to do some FB science posting on my Integrative Nutrition page.

Because the news is terrible and depressing.
 
don't know what's going on with you peoples toilet paper and napkin problems, we have plenty. we ain't having church but food, beer and ass wiping material is normal here.

bleach or any thing that kills germs are the only thing we don't have.

Found out the local branch of the bank is shut until this is all over and the dedicated phone number for lost credit cards are not answering the phone, which isn't great.
 
Technically it's not even lost, its just somehow been eaten by the couch.

I guess it worked its way through, managed to get it out of the bottom of it.
 
Whisky, are you and Mrs Whisky feeling any better?
 
You could do shots (selfies) of each other. That would be entertaining to watch

I'm feeling a bit better, although during my meal yesterday I had to get a lighter spoon, got my blue inhalor which is helping with my breathing.

Mrs W is coughing less, but still weak, we are both making slow recoveries, thanks x
 
Good news Whisky hope your recovery continues.
I am well. Family returning from various spots to isolate together.
My work has collapsed, wrapping up my company over the next few weeks. It's all good, I'll survive to blot the advertising landscape again.
I have several older relatives that are being slippery buggers on isolating. I have had to use my deeper, soft voice several times.
Perspectives have changes, probably for the better.
Missed you all, much love.

He looks exactly like I would imagine a New York politician to look. Is there a form of Nominative Determinism but instead of name it is on your looks?

Sorry to hear that, headvoid. Very good to see you here and know you’re all right though.

Today in our heads of department meeting the CEO brought up the idea of furloughing staff. I work for a tech company and considering this is the time of digital everything I’d naively thought we’d be unaffected. Already people are positioning themselves to avoid their teams being furloughed, because there’s an underlying feeling that if we can do without them now, we might not need them when this is over. Difficult conversations ahead.
