"Boston Legal" star Mark Valley is headed to NBC, signing on as one of two leads for the comedy "Business Class."
The network has also placed another "Legal" player, Jane Lynch, in its comedy "Area 52" and found stars for two of its dramas, the showbiz trade papers say. Zachary Levi ("Less Than Perfect") will play the title role in the Josh Schwartz pilot "Chuck," which has also added Adam Baldwin, and "Rome" star Kevin McKidd will star in the time-travel drama "Journeyman."
Valley, who plays Brad Chase on "Boston Legal," will play an amoral salesman in "Business Class," a comedy from "Simpsons" veterans Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein. The show centers on Valley's character and a rival salesman who live their lives on the road.
His casting may not bode well for Brad's future on the ABC series; there's no word on which show is in "first position" for the former "Keen Eddie" star.
Lynch ("The 40 Year Old Virgin," "Talladega Nights"), meanwhile, has joined "Area 52," a comedy about employees at a secret government facility in the Arizona desert. Lynch had a recurring part on "Boston Legal" earlier this season.
I kind of hope Mullally will become a regular. She's a great actress but was a rotten talk show host. She's much better off hiding behind a character...Mullally Spends Time in 'Boston'http://www.zap2it.com/tv/news/zap-m...legal,0,7713204.story?coll=zap-news-headlines
'Will & Grace' Emmy winner to guest on 'Legal'

With her daytime show now done, Megan Mullally is headed back to primetime, courtesy of the folks at "Boston Legal."
Mullally will guest-star on an episode of the ABC series later this season, playing a former co-worker and ex-girlfriend of James Spader's character, Alan Shore. She's shooting the episode this week; an airdate hasn't been scheduled yet.
Whenever the episode does air, Mullally will have a memorable entrance. Per ABC, viewers will meet her character, Renata Hall, "as she dashes down the courthouse hallway wearing a bloody wedding gown, carrying a bloody pair of scissors and proclaiming her innocence in the murder of her betrothed."
I never saw Keen Eddie...guess I should check out some eps...CaptainWacky said:Mark Valley never would have been in the show in the first place if Keen Eddy had been a hit!
