David Schwimmer warns women of rape

David Schwimmer has launched an appeal to warn women about the dangers of rape when they go out binge drinking.

The former Friends star became director and spokesperson for the Rape Treatment Center in LA after a female friend of his was sexually attacked.

He has issued a plea to women to take more care as more and more ladies are increasing their partying and drinking lifestyles.

Schwimmer told Cosmopolitan: "It worries me that so many girls go out binge drinking, then lose all sense of what they're doing and who they're with.

"I'm all for going out, getting drunk with friends and having great sex in a consensual situation, but you have to know where to draw the line.

"I'm a man and I know men go out looking for sex, which is OK, but it's not OK to have sex against someone's will or to abuse someone who's under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

"If I had a daughter today, I'd be worried."
