Dead beetle

Cassie

Touching the monolith
Staff member
My brother just handed me a large dead beetle. At first I didn't want to touch it because it's a beetle and it's dead. Here he is reading this post.

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE THE BEETLE DO?

All your bugs look gigantic!!

Get it to do an Irish jig.

It's dead!! No jigging.

It's probably only an inch long, just had to get really close to it.

Make it eat grits!

Make it stand for president by creating a campaign banner.

MAKE IT FIGHT DOUGHBOY!

I would like to see a pic of it on a tin can.

Give it a cape and make it fly around the room.

This reminds me. A few years ago I found a funny looking bug on my desk. I put it in a clear glass jar with the lid covered with tissue and a rubber band so it could breathe. It lived for a few days and then died. I took pictures. Perhaps I oughta post them?

"What are grits anyway?!"

Grits are hominy.

Grits are a southern staple and I love them. You can mix your eggs in with them and put a good dash of salt and pepper.I'm hungry now.
"...and if you like fish and grits and all that pimp shit, then everybody let me hear you say o-yea-yer"

But can you mix dead beetles in them?

I'm thinking of painting it with fingernail polish and taking pornographic pictures of it with other dead insects. I found a dead spider on the back porch just now. I have to get over my revulsion of touching the dead spider then it's ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!!

Are they really dead if they live on in your heart?

Grits are gross. My mom's from Oklahoma and never once did she feed us grits. The same can not be said of my Granny.

My dad's from Oklahoma, I lived there for a long time. People there don't eat grits much, that I noticed. I think it's more of a southern thing, unless you're Italian then you call it polenta.

I am not a fan of grits.

Dead bug porn on the other hand...

omg! grits=polenta?!?!?!

Yes it does, lol. Probably cooked a little different but it's made from the same ground hominy.
