Dead Set starts TONIGHT

Orange also sucks. If I (God forbid) walk off and do something away from the computer for a few minutes, when I come back the connection is always dead.

Dead Set really rocked. I loved the authenticity... everything was spot on, except perhaps for the eviction interview, which was the only low budget looking bit. Over all it had a great cinematic feel (maybe the DVD will just be one movie rather than individual episodes). Looking forward to seeing how it pans out over the five episodes. Presumably they leave the house eventually?
 
I think it would work better on DVD as a movie, actually, since the ad breaks were REALLY LONG and ruined the flow.

The second episode was good too.
 
The first episode ended up downloaded very, very quickly after a slow start.

If TV had around 100 Charlie Brooker's we'd all be better off. He's combined Dawn of the Dead's caustic take on modern life through blood & zombies, with the current obsession with materialistic reality TV.

Davina dying & going on a bloodthirsty rampage? Priceless. A horde of ravenous zombies invading a room full of former Big Brother alumni, including Bubble, Helen & Makosi? Fucking brilliant.
This is going to be excellent. Charlie Brooker has now been elevated to demi-godlike status.
 
Episode 3 was the best yet, maybe!

I hope either Joplin or the producer survives, because at least one of them is bound to have a gruesome death...
 
If TV had 100 Charlie Brookers we'd be sat in front of all day just gawping.

I'm not saying that's a bad thing.
 
Can somebody post links to torrents for episodes 2 & 3? Probably not too wise to do it on here, so PMs ahoy. I'm too lazy too look, plus you guys always seem to know where to get the best ones.

I'm up for a weekend of Dead Set & Dexter.

You might as well get it on DVD now it's out.

I did and watched then all through, really really really good.
 
It was great all the way to the end and it finished pretty much how it had to.
