Did you know that The Simpsons is on Fox?

Sorry Wacky, who?

The Simpsons has been going for about 90 years, hasn’t it? There probably isn’t much they haven’t “predicted”.

And predicting that Disney will buy literally everything isn't that hard.

Just wait until they come knocking for the rights to Cat Cleaners...

I kind of want to start a "Did you know that The Simpsons is still on?" thread.

But I don't actually know if The Simpsons is still on.

I've probably managed to watch about 45 seconds of it since 2003, it's gotten so painfully bad. But then that's about 39 seconds more than I've watched of SNL since about 1997 (what was the last year Norm MacDonald did the Fake News? That year.) For the same reason.

The Jerry Springer Show is somehow still on. Has it maintained the high quality it's known for!?

As of December 10, 2017, yes The Simpsons is still on.

628 episodes and counting.

I think it will keep going until on of the core cast dies.

I think it would survive anyone but the loss of Dan Casteletta.

I think if Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith or Hank Azaria were hit by a bus or tumor, they might consider stopping. But not Harry Shearer -- he's already quit and come back twice.

Other than Hank though, the others only do one or two roles, like they pointed out at the end of the simpsons movie.

I watched a large portion of the labor day Simpsons marathon. Watching it's transformation from marvelous to meh was interesting.

I don't regret it.

Is Lisa in college yet?

They did do an episode where she went to college, as an eight year. It was stupid.
