Update: I decided not to have her axed. She sighed with relief but she will learn, in time, that I have purely selfish reasons.

The answer to my original question is I am very nice, until I am not.

I started an album and put in it an old picture of me and the kid out at Disneyland in 1986. That is Mamakitty trying to pull the sword out of the sword. That is me standing beside her, holding the stone down. I was fat with a mass of curly hair and I was sassy too.

I think every group needs a mean one. That is how the group gets something better when being nice didn't work. Plus, it brings a nice balance to the group.
 
Update:

The girl who was trying to take my job - when I got in to work Friday the big bosses were cleaning out her office. They said she resigned but it took effect immediately and she isn't being allowed back to clean out her office herself.

Oh well.

I'm curious as to why they wouldn't let her clean it out herself. Must have threatened violence against the bosses or workplace or something.
 
I think she is more stupid than I am mean. She must have kept on doing whatever she was doing and nobody asked me this time what I thought about it.

Anyway, I started training a new girl today. We'll see.
 
Oh, this is going to be interesting. New girl thought she was hired in as my superior and I'm her secretary or something.

He, he, he .... I just smiled.

Did I mention I'm getting a new office? Well, I am. New girl is working in there until there I and some people who have time to help me can get stuff moved around. I'm very fung shui about my work space plus I have some special stuff that has to go with me.

My big boss was coming down the hall to see me about a special project when new girl was acting kind of hoity toity. He was nice when he broke the news to new girl that the office she is working in isn't hers - it is mine.

After that, she was calling me "m'am."

That was funny.

But, I didn't laugh out loud. I just smiled.
 
LOL - that is an interesting second paragraph. All I can say is it was pre-ice cream fix and the cat was chewing on my hands wanting to play.
