I want to smell dark matter
It just seems to be a horrible drunk man staggering about swearing and mis-treating his family. Hardly the ground-breaking, cutting-edge, WITTY AS FUCK drama Channel 4 make it out to be.
 
Watched it once. Got bored. Turned it over.

Frank Gallagher is only one character, it's not all about him (unlike the ads imply).

I wouldn't call it witty, it's more in your face than that. It has laugh out loud moments and amusing relationships between characters. And the occasional bit of nudity.

Well Shameless is like a soap opera but with sex and swearing and it's better written. The best thing are the characters who pop up now and again in the background and only have a few lines, like this one woman who looks like an Avid Merrion mask.
 
I doubt it's better written tha Neighbours! LOL HAROLD AND PAUL FREINDS DESPITE TRYING TO KILL EACH OTHER IN THE PAST.
 
I enjoy Neighbours more, but that's because everyone's pretty and I don't have to think. Janae needs another poolside scene.
